Last night Anne and Andy attended the Beatson Institute Open Evening. The Institute is funded by Cancer Research UK
Anne and Andy met with Dorothy Roger, Area Volunteer Manager, Cancer Research UK, and were introduced to Professor Jeff Evans, (Professor of Translational Cancer Research at the Beatson Institute and Consultant in Medical Oncology at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre) who accepted a cheque for £4,592 raised by family and friends of Jen's Cancer Trust during the recent West Highland Way walk.
This means that Cancer Research UK has received donations totalling £8,920 from Jen's Cancer Trust this year. Thanks to everyone for your support!
